Chapbooks, 24 pp. each incld. the self-wraps, Part I is illustrated with 24 woodcuts depicting Edward III, Henry VI, Henry VIII, Willian II, Mary, William the Conqueror, etc., Part II is illustrated with 14 woodcuts of Charles I, Anne, George II, Victoria, etc. These chapbooks remain unbound and uncut, and the duodecimo sheet can be unfolded in full – a scarce find. Part I shows heavy tanning, dampstains and paperclip ghost on the verso and recto of the cover leaf only; the remainder of the sheet has light yellowing and a couple of small crease tears. Part II has light tanning to the edges of the cover leaf, some faint dampstains, and two tiny holes in the top margin of the last leaf.
